# Account settings

> Update your name and email, choose your newsletter preference, switch the app between English and Arabic, and find your subscription settings.

Your account settings are where you keep your personal details current and tune a few preferences for how Vixi works for you. Everything here lives in one place, organized into clear cards so you can find what you need quickly.

## Opening settings

    Sign in at `https://create.vixiai.co` and look at the navigation on the left.

    Select **Settings** from the sidebar. You land on the **Account Settings** tab by default.

The Settings area has two tabs at the top:

* **Account Settings** — your personal info and preferences (covered on this page).
* **Subscription** — your current plan and billing.

Switch between them with the tabs directly under the page heading.

## Account Settings tab

This tab is split into two cards: **Basic info** and **Preferences**.

### Basic info

The **Basic info** card holds the core details of your account:

* **First Name**
* **Last Name**
* **Email**

Edit any of these fields, then click **Save Changes** at the bottom of the page.

  The **Save Changes** button stays disabled until your details are valid. Your first and last name each need at least a few characters, and your email has to be a properly formatted address. Once everything looks right, the button becomes active.

### Preferences

The **Preferences** card covers notifications and the app's language.

#### Newsletter emails

Under **Send emails about product updates and announcement**, choose **Yes** or **No** to say whether you'd like to hear from Vixi about product updates and announcements.

#### Language

Vixi's interface is available in **English** and **Arabic**.

To switch, click the language button in the **Preferences** card:

* It reads **Switch to Arabic** when you're using English.
* It reads **Switch to English** when you're using Arabic.

  The language change applies immediately across the whole app — you don't need to click **Save Changes** for it to take effect.

## Subscription tab

The **Subscription** tab shows your current plan and gives you a way to manage billing. From there you can review your plan, upgrade, and open the billing portal to update your card or view receipts.

## Frequently asked questions

  <Accordion title="How do I change my password?">
    The Account Settings tab covers your name, email, newsletter preference, and language. It does not include a password field, so password changes aren't made here.

  <Accordion title="Does changing the language affect my courses?">
    No. The language toggle changes the language of the Vixi interface you see as a creator. It applies right away and doesn't change the content or language of the courses you've built.

  <Accordion title="Where did Earnings and Payouts go?">
    Earnings now live in their own **Earnings** section in the sidebar rather than inside Settings. Settings holds your account details and subscription.
